This role combines technical expertise with customer success, helping enterprises, creative studios, and developers integrate ComfyUI’s visual AI capabilities into their products and processes. You’ll be the bridge between our engineering team and our users, ensuring customers can harness our node-based workflow engine to solve their unique AI challenges.

You are a good fit if this describes you:

  • You have a strong technical background with hands-on experience in AI/ML, computer vision, or creative software workflows.
  • You’re passionate about visual AI and understand how generative models can transform creative processes.
  • You excel at translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for diverse audiences.
  • You learn new technologies rapidly and can quickly become proficient with unfamiliar AI models and workflows.
  • You enjoy working directly with customers and take ownership of their success.
  • You’re comfortable presenting technical demos, conducting workshops, and troubleshooting complex integrations.
  • You are a self-starter who executes quickly, adapts to fast-changing priorities, and thrives in ambiguous situations.

What you’ll do:

  • Work directly with enterprise customers, creative studios, and developer teams to design and implement custom ComfyUI workflows for their specific use cases.
  • Conduct technical demos and proof-of-concepts showcasing ComfyUI’s capabilities for image generation, video creation, 3D asset production, and workflow automation.
  • Collaborate with customers to architect end-to-end solutions using ComfyUI’s APIs, custom nodes, and integration capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance during sales cycles, helping prospects understand how ComfyUI can solve their creative and technical challenges.
  • Develop custom workflows, integrations, and extensions based on customer requirements and feedback.
  • Work closely with our engineering team to relay customer needs, report bugs, and influence product roadmap decisions.
  • Create technical documentation, tutorials, and best practice guides based on real-world customer implementations.
  • Support customers post-deployment with troubleshooting, optimization, and workflow enhancement.

Requirements:

  • You have relevant experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or customer-facing technical role at a high-tech startup, preferably in AI/ML or creative software.
  • Strong technical background in Python, APIs, and software integrations. Experience with AI/ML frameworks is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of creative workflows in video production, game development, advertising, or digital art.
  • Experience with generative AI models, computer vision, or image/video processing tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to learn complex technical products quickly and become a subject matter expert.

Nice to have:

  • You have excelled at a fast-paced, high-growth tech startup before or are extremely excited about being in one.
  • Hands-on experience with ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, or other node-based visual programming environments.
  • Background in creative industries (animation, VFX, game development, advertising, digital art).
  • Experience with enterprise software sales cycles and technical evaluation processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment, Docker, and API management for customer integrations.

What is ComfyUI?

ComfyUI, in the simplest form, is a node-based engine that enables users to generate visual content using AI. It is the most popular and powerful visual AI framework with more than 60k Github stars, thousands of 3rd party extensions and millions of users.

But this is not where it stops,

  • ComfyUI is and will continue to be a tool for artists of the future: a human equipped with AI who can be an order of magnitude more productive than before.

  • ComfyUI will continue evolve to further to democratize AIs for creatives, hobbyists, storytellers, studios, developers, and enterprises.

  • It empowers those who were not trained with the power of the brush to also be a painter and those who do to be a maestro.

  • It will become an Operating System for visual Gen AI.

  • It will unlock a world where no stories is left untold

About Us

We are a small, intense, and well-funded team in San Francisco who push ComfyUI and its ecosystem forward. Our team comes from Stability AI and Google and many contributed to the ComfyUI ecosystem way before working here.

Our organization is flat and there is no hierarchy, only categories: dev, arts, prod, ops, etc (and no, there is no one here with the title of Member of Technical Staff, it’s long and silly for a job title).

The only thing that matters is the quality of your cultural fit and execution. We work hard and demand a lot of each other. But we have fun: everyone is here to make something meaningful that will end up being our life’s work. If this mission excites you and you view yourself as a top-tier talent, your future latent self is waiting for you at Comfy.

Check out our Github and blog for what we’ve been working on. Our investors include Pace Capital, Chemistry, Abstract Venture, and Guillermo Rauch.
