The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Distributed Systems team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems. This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop core components of our distributed systems.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on distributed systems.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies, including Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary range: $220,000 - $300,000 annually.
