We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable software systems that power our global platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Python, Java, or Go.
  • Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and deliver new features.
  • Champion best practices in software development, including testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, Go) and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React).
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, including AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker.
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Proven track record of designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
  • Experience with data engineering or machine learning is a plus.
