Bulding the agentic analytics for enterprises with messy data.

Customers include Amazon, Dropbox and Scale AI.

Raised $17M. 9x revenue YoY. Team of ~20 people including many ex-founders.

TextQL is an NYC-based startup working to drive the unit cost of a data-driven decision down to zero. Customers like Amazon, Ring, Scale AI, Lumeris, and the NBA rely on us to make better decisions, faster. We’re rapidly expanding our engineering team to build the agentic data lakehouse – finding trustworthy answers to hard questions from messy enterprise data without configuring schemas, moving data, or lengthy implementation roadmaps.

Site Reliability Engineering (EU Timezone)

Do you instinctively check uptime dashboards before checking the weather? Have you ever refactored an alerting pipeline because the noise was personally offensive to you?

Agents don’t sleep, and neither does the platform they depend on. As we scale globally, we need someone who owns reliability across EU hours — not just keeping things green, but building the foundational reliability layer for a platform where autonomous agents are your heaviest users. Think observability, incident response, capacity planning, chaos engineering — the full picture, from scratch.

You’d be our first dedicated SRE hire in Europe — and potentially the person who builds out that team. This is a foundational role: you’ll define the playbook, set the standards, and shape what EU-hours reliability looks like as we scale. If we get this right, you’ll be the one deciding who joins next.

What Success Looks Like

  • Within 90 days, you’ll own our EU-hours on-call rotation and have shipped meaningful improvements to observability and incident response
  • Within 6 months, you’ll own major reliability subsystems end-to-end and have driven down MTTR measurably
  • Within a year, you’ll be a technical leader shaping the reliability architecture of the agentic data lakehouse — and likely growing the EU SRE team around you

About You

  • 3–5 years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering
  • You’ve been a startup CTO, founding engineer, or senior IC who had to keep the whole thing running — and you’re now looking for a dedicated reliability role where that breadth is a superpower
  • Prior experience working on mission-critical software or at a data SaaS scale-up
  • Comfortable across the stack — you’ll touch infrastructure, services, and occasionally frontend when that’s where the fire is
  • You care about building systems that are robust, scalable, and boring in the best possible way

Compensation & Logistics

  • Total Compensation: €245K–€315K (€140K base + €35K–€105K bonus + €70K equity)
  • Interview: We prefer meeting in person when feasible and can make a decision within 72 hours. We’ll cover all travel expenses.
  • Location: Remote, EU timezone. You’ll travel to our NYC (FiDI) headquarters periodically — expect roughly once per quarter.
  • Benefits: Top-tier health insurance, 21 days PTO
  • Employment: We can hire via a local entity or EOR depending on your country. We retain legal counsel across multiple EU jurisdictions to keep things smooth.

If this description resonates, we strongly encourage you to apply.
