Resistors were not visible in generated PNG snapshots from STEP file conversion, despite being present in the circuit JSON. Small components were either missing geometry or too dark/small to see in the rendered output.

Implemented smart component detection to identify small components (resistors) and ensure they get proper fallback box geometry when external meshes fail. Added lighter coloring specifically for resistors while maintaining original appearance for larger components.
